Been musing on Genesis 22 after a bit of a rough stretch in our road. I always read the narrative with the thought that Abraham descended the slope of Mount Moriah with his hands in the air and a shout of victory on his lips. The words of the Apostle Paul have a very familiar ring to them as we prepare to leave for our Missions Trip to the Philippines. We depart from Pensacola, Florida on November 13. We are in a revival in Nappanee, Indiana this week. This area is home to many Amish families. There is a fascination that American culture has with the simple and slow-paced lifestyle of the Amish. It is a rainy day here in the upper Midwest. A good day to read and rest a bit. Spending the day tweaking the website and preparing to speak at a Men's Meeting tonight. We had a great meeting at Dunes Baptist Church and had 1 young lady come to Christ on Sunday. Praise the Lord for the Gospel!
I also broke thru the 360 barrier today - 359.6 lbs. Haven't been there in 10 years or so. Thanks for the prayer and encouragement.

Greetings from Northwest Indiana! We are in a revival meeting this week at Dunes Baptist Church in Michigan City, IN. The church was packed last night and it was good to see my family and many friends from the area. Sam Geckler is the pastor of this church that he planted here over 25 years ago.
